Awosting is a boys’ residential camp in Morris, Connecticut, for ages 7–16. Cabin groups attend three scheduled morning periods, including a swim or boating lesson; campers then choose two afternoon activities. Alongside sports and lake time are go-karts, fencing, woodwork and drama. A rookie week and several longer session lengths let families consider how much time away suits their child.

Go-karts, the climbing tower, zip line and laser tag add variety; confirm the age and participation rules for each.
Work on a project in the woodshop, try ceramics or join drama, combining focused making with group expression.
Fencing, martial arts, basketball, soccer, volleyball and lacrosse let campers explore different sports.
Three scheduled morning periods and two afternoon electives provide both routine and flexibility.

Boys of similar age share cabins with two counselors. Cabins have electricity, toilets and sinks; shower houses are separate.
Boys only; the regular age range is 7–16. Internet-connected devices are restricted and family contact follows camp routines. Ask about Rookie Week age limits.
Early-bird rates apply until November 15, 2026; ask about eligibility and terms.
Tuition includes meals, camp activities, snacks, laundry and towels. Additional canteen funds are USD 80/125/150/175/200/250 for 1/2/3/4/6/8 weeks; unused funds are not refunded.
International package: USD 600. Airport transfer alone: USD 250 each way. Separate linen/trunk rental is USD 200 for 1–4 weeks or USD 250 for 5–8 weeks; avoid double-counting with the package.
Deposits range from USD 800 to USD 2,500 by session; half is non-refundable immediately and all is non-refundable after December 31, 2026. Balances are due May 1, 2027.
Senior trip: USD 650; changeover-day trip: USD 100; visiting-day trip: USD 50. Ask about eligibility and optional participation.
Camp is at the southern end of Bantam Lake in Morris. International campers using JFK transport generally arrive the day before camp; confirm exact arrival and departure arrangements.
Campers live with counselors and laundry is weekly; discuss health, medication and dietary needs in advance.
