01 / SHORT STAY
English classes while your child is at school
A short course could be worth exploring if you want to practise English while accompanying your child. If you handle school pickup, consider your timetable, your child’s finishing time and the journey between them.
Some courses accept children from age six; others are designed for teens or young adults. Consider the right class, day or residential attendance, and who will handle transport and care.
If study is the main reason for your trip, explore seven-week, eight-week or semester programs. Full-time courses may require an I-20 and student visa; follow the requirements for your chosen program.
18+, or 17 and a high-school graduate Literacy in your native language is required. English placement assessment; ask an adviser about the minimum level.
