A Yale University academic-enrichment program for high-school students on its own campus.
YYGS electronic completion certificate; no course credit or grades.
Explore scientific ideas and applications across life sciences, physics, engineering and neuroscience.
Compare economic, legal and political approaches to public policy, human rights, market regulation and international cooperation.
Use the UN Sustainable Development Goals as a learning framework for health, poverty, gender equality and environmental issues.
Question lecture ideas and compare evidence and real-world implications with a small group.
Develop, investigate and present a collaborative project with guidance from the instructional team.
Applicants from all countries may apply, including for need-based financial aid.
No course credit or grades are awarded; students receive a YYGS electronic completion certificate.
Live in Benjamin Franklin or Pauli Murray College, with residential groups and peer activities.
First-time YYGS participants only. Northern Hemisphere students must graduate in May/June 2028 or 2029; Southern Hemisphere students in November/December 2027 or 2028. Attend one session in one track.
Tuition includes housing, meals and curriculum materials, excluding travel. Nonrefundable application fees are US$85 Early Action or US$100 Regular Decision.
Tuition is generally nonrefundable; exceptional visa-denial or family-medical-emergency cases require documentation. Full payment is due December 16, 2026 for Early Action and March 15, 2027 for Regular Decision.
Students must be able to follow a rigorous English curriculum and meet the age, graduation and first-time rules.
Residential colleges provide study and social spaces; room and shared-bathroom arrangements depend on allocation. Discuss housing needs in advance.
International families should plan immigration documents and transport early, checking the designated arrival and departure windows.
