CAMP-FL-002

Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, operated by Delaware North as a NASA contractor
A space education program of the visitor complex
The international group program lists a visitor-complex completion certificate; contact an advisor about the summer day-camp credential
Practice observation, design and problem-solving through age-appropriate science and engineering tasks.
Connect classroom ideas with space applications through laboratory activities in the visitor complex education facilities.
Try training simulations suited to the age group and equipment safety requirements.
Explore spaceflight history through exhibits; international group learning also draws on NASA science and Mars exploration.
Summer day-camp groups are assigned by birth date; attending additional weeks normally repeats that group’s curriculum.
The international format serves groups ages 10–17, requires at least 24 participants and paid adult chaperones.
Learning takes place in visitor-complex exhibits and education spaces, according to the scheduled program.
Day camp does not include lodging; parents arrange daily transport. Some simulators have height, health and transfer requirements, and a rocket-launch schedule may cause a day’s activities to be canceled.
International group bookings normally require a nonrefundable 30% deposit and the balance six weeks before the program; confirm the applicable 2027 terms.
Day-camp changes and cancellations have deadlines and charges, with no refunds close to arrival; check the chosen program before booking.
Summer day camp normally runs 8 a.m.–3 p.m.; contact an advisor for 2027 times and grouping.
Participants must understand, read and follow English directions; confirm individual international eligibility for the chosen format.
International groups require at least 24 participants and paid chaperones age 21+, at a 1:11 adult-to-student ratio; lodging and transport are arranged separately.
Closed-toe shoes are required for simulators; some require minimum heights of 1.22 m or 1.30 m, a maximum weight of 127 kg and suitable health.
Discuss this camp and participation arrangements with an ASCWORLD education adviser.
