Northeastern University Accelerate Pre-College Programs
中文Boston, Massachusetts
Use code, 3D design and makerspace tools to turn a sustainability-focused engineering idea into a working prototype.
Work through a practical engineering challenge in a university makerspace. Begin with user needs, then combine physical design, electronics and programming to explore how engineering disciplines work together.

Analyze user needs and define design requirements for an environmental engineering challenge.
Develop functional devices around themes such as clean water and solar energy.
Learn design and fabrication methods, using tools such as 3D printing and laser cutting as the project requires.
Learn programming logic and write or modify code that controls Arduino-based devices.
Combine design, hardware and software in a hands-on project and refine how the device works.
Experiential, project-based teaching emphasizes hands-on problem-solving.
Accelerate cohorts typically have 15–30 students, supporting discussion and peer exchange.
Residential life includes campus activities and program-organized exploration of Boston.
For rising juniors and seniors. Projects and tools may vary. International students may apply, but the program does not sponsor student visas.
Contact an advisor for 2027 costs, payment and cancellation rules.
Students live in campus residence halls, typically sharing rooms and suite facilities; staff live in the building and the entrance is staffed around the clock.
Students must return to the residence hall by 10 p.m. and follow meeting-point and buddy rules during outings.
Check academic English readiness, immigration documents, health and dietary needs in advance; families plan transport and pre/post-program arrangements.
Discuss this camp and participation arrangements with an ASCWORLD education adviser.
