Subject options span psychology, biology, anthropology and history of science, supporting exploration of people and health.
Explore legal studies, government, history or philosophy through discussion-based university study.
Course fields include creative and expository writing, literature, journalism and speech.
Science and technology fields include astronomy, biology, computing, mathematics, physics and statistics.
Join workshops, talks and conversations about university life and preparation.
Expect around three class hours and two to four homework hours daily, with an average class size of about 15.
Courses emphasize learning and exploration without awarding university credit.
Study, live and take part in activities on Harvard’s campus with peers from different places.
Applicants must finish high school and enter college in 2028 or 2029; contact an advisor for the birthdate cutoff. Students take one course per session; confirm the available catalogue.
Program fees cover tuition, accommodation, the meal plan, program fees and two-week accident/sickness insurance; the US$75 application fee is nonrefundable.
Budget separately for travel, books and personal spending. Most international applicants do not meet the program’s financial-aid citizenship/status conditions. Ask about 2027 refund deadlines.
The student must create the account and complete the application personally; parents or advisers cannot complete it. Non-native English speakers must submit required language scores.
This noncredit program does not qualify for an F-1 visa; follow the university’s international-student guidance for individual immigration arrangements.
Published session dates are course dates; confirm residence check-in/out and health-document requirements before booking travel.
