YMCA Camp Sea Gull is the boys’ camp in Arapahoe, separate from Camp Seafarer for girls. Sailing, powerboating and swimming are central to the experience. CAMP-NC-001

Campers develop knots, boat-handling skills and progressive ranks, with access shaped by swimming ability.
An arrival swim assessment sets depth and activity access; everyone wears a life jacket while boating.
Canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, fishing and waterskiing add variety beyond sailing.
Archery, golf, tennis, pickleball, creative arts and high ropes offer choices during land activity periods.
Goal books and daily counselor conversations help campers plan their day; longer stays allow more sustained practice.
Starter, Mariners and four-week sessions offer different lengths with clearly defined age bands.
A land-and-sea rhythm balances repeated seamanship practice with sports and creative activities.
Boys only. Every camper must arrive by car with a parent or an adult with decision-making authority. Aquatic access follows a swim assessment. In 2027, Second Session and Mariners III/IV start Monday and end Saturday.
Two-week totals include a USD 350 application fee and USD 3,926 program fee; four-week totals include USD 500 plus USD 6,410. Program fees are due March 1, 2027.
Written cancellations by March 1, 2027 refund half the application fee and paid program fees. March 2–May 15 refunds half the program fee only; after May 15, neither fee is refunded. Camp-store purchases are additional.
Arrival: a parent or decision-making adult must bring the camper by car to 218 Sea Gull Landing. Contact an advisor for 2027 arrival times and settle ground arrangements before booking flights.
Water preparation: the swim assessment takes place in darker lake water without goggles. Familiarity with breathing, treading water and continuous swimming can help.
International and registration: open enrollment for new families begins October 22, 2026. Confirm language, health-care and individual international participation needs with an advisor.
