The original Trails campus groups lake activities, climbing, creative projects and cabin life by entering grade. Christian faith is central, with Bible study, prayer and small-group devotions.

Courses & activities

Lake and pool

Explore water games, slides and inflatables at Lake Evelyn and the pool, with activities selected by grade.

Climbing and zip lines

Try age-appropriate climbing walls, towers and zip lines; older groups have access to additional ropes challenges.

Archery and outdoor discovery

Practice focus through archery, scavenger hunts and outdoor discovery. The activity selection depends on the camper’s group.

Crafts and team games

Make bracelets, tie-dye or artwork, then join group games and Alpha/Omega team competitions.

Faith and small-group reflection

Bible study, prayer and bedtime cabin devotions provide structured time for faith and life discussions.

Shared cabin experience

Grade-based activities and cabin life create opportunities to practice independence, cooperation and making friends.

One-week and two-week options

Core offers a one-week residential stay, while Epic offers two weeks for entering grades 6–8. Choose a duration suited to the child’s experience away from home.

Who might enjoy this camp?

  • For children who enjoy water activities, climbing and team games and want a shared-cabin camp experience.
  • For families comfortable with Christian Bible study and devotional activities.
  • First-time overnight campers can consider one week; experienced campers entering grades 6–8 may consider a two-week stay.

Christian Bible study, prayer and cabin devotions are part of the regular program. Families should confirm the child is comfortable participating.

Travel & participation

Choose by the grade the child will enter in fall 2027. This page covers the original Trails campus; grade-8 families should take particular care to confirm the location.

Confirm individual overseas eligibility, English readiness, local emergency arrangements and airport transport before making travel plans.

Campers take a pool swim test on arrival; life jackets are required for everyone in lake activities.
