中文Grapeland, Texas
An explicitly Christian camp where Juniors choose four skill classes and Teens explore waterfront and challenge activities at Fossil Creek.
Frontier Camp in Grapeland runs separate Junior and Teen programs. Juniors return to chosen skill classes daily, while Teens have more open recreation choices. Water, horses and outdoor challenges shape the schedule. Bible teaching, songs, drama and cabin devotions are integral to the experience, suiting families seeking a faith-centered summer.
CAMP-TX-009

Juniors select four classes and two alternatives, returning daily to choices such as archery, swimming or woodworking.
Juniors learn riding and horse care; Teens can take trail rides, with experienced riders eligible for rodeo tryouts.
Juniors can choose kayaking, skiing and wakeboarding; the Teen Cable Park adds cable-towed water activities.
Fossil hunts, nature observation and woodworking complement ropes, a giant swing and team games.
Juniors use Main Camp and Teens use Fossil Creek, with schedules and spaces matched to their age groups.
Teaching and devotions are integral alongside recreation, within an expressly Christian mission.
Junior schedules follow activity preferences, so cabinmates may attend different classes and meet new peers.
Bible teaching and devotions are part of daily life. Juniors cannot attend consecutive weeks and must be seven at arrival; confirm the age-13 boundary. Teen eligibility uses age on September 1, 2027 and requires campers to remain no older than 17 throughout camp.
Camp-store spending uses a separate prepaid account, with unused funds returned. Contact an advisor for 2027 deposit, cancellation and refund terms.
After registration, families complete health, guardian authorization, conduct, lake-permission and activity-preference documents.
Water participation: parents may approve or opt out of all lake-water activities. Juniors take an arrival swim check, with bands setting some pool requirements.
Arrival and departure: families drive to Main Camp or Fossil Creek and collect campers on the program’s stated closing date; confirm exact 2027 times.
International and health: insurance information is requested, and medicines go to health staff in original containers. Confirm international eligibility, language support and local pickup arrangements before applying.
