Camp Horizons in Harrisonburg combines paddling, arts, farm and garden, climbing and sport. Ages 6–8 explore in counselor-led groups, with more choice as campers grow older. Equestrian Camp balances riding with regular camp life; Leadership is specifically for older students who have previously attended Horizons.

Clay, makerspace, filmmaking, photography, drama and guitar offer hands-on ways to express interests.
Farm, garden, nature center, fire-building, climbing, mountain biking and pump track activities fill out the outdoor program.
Beginners work on balance, steering, posting and care; experienced riders refine canter and controlled jumps, ending with a show.
Ages 6–8 move through activities with counselors and peers, building familiarity with residential life.
Paid Dulles airport transfers are offered to international campers within specified arrival and departure windows.
Returning rising seniors can apply for four weeks of activity leadership, communication and program planning.
Campers need basic hygiene and self-care skills. Recent mental-health concerns, physical conditions affecting participation, or learning/behavioral support needs require pre-enrollment review. Leadership is limited to eligible returning campers.
A non-refundable USD 375 registration fee is required per camper per session; confirm how it applies to listed tuition. Cancellations before April 1, 2027 refund payments less registration fees; none are refundable from that date.
Dulles transfers cost USD 200 each way. A USD 275 early-enrollment discount is advertised before January 1, 2027; confirm eligibility.
Flights: international campers using Dulles transfers should arrive Sunday 10 a.m.–2 p.m. and depart Saturday noon–4 p.m., by prior arrangement.
Cabins: villages are organized by age and gender, with counselors in daily life. Discuss dietary and care needs before applying.
Leadership applications close February 19, 2027; accepted participants complete registration and payment by April 1. New campers choose age-appropriate Base or Equestrian options.
