School introduction

Founded in 1973 in San Juan Capistrano, this college-preparatory school develops academic learning, communication and leadership from the early grades through high school.

Its international program brings students from different backgrounds into regular school life. Teacher guidance, peer support and a close-knit community help new students adjust.

Curriculum

Junior-high core subjects include mathematics, science, English and history, complemented by arts, technology and performing-arts electives. Harkness discussions, small-group work and collaborative mathematics emphasize communication and reasoning.

High-school pathways include college-preparatory, honors and AP options. International students in Grades 9–12 may receive language support through SDAIE English, Bible and history courses, with placement based on proficiency and academic assessment.

  • All students take Bible classes and participate in weekly chapel within a Christian educational setting.
  • International students in K–8 must live with a parent and have near-fluent English; ESL is not offered at that level. Grades 9–12 require at least intermediate English.
