Individual and small-group learning, alongside arts, sports and service.
School introduction
This Christian school emphasizes individual and small-group instruction, alongside arts, sports and community service.
Classes are taught in English. Students have access to one ESL class focused on writing and grammar, rather than a comprehensive intensive-language program. Middle and high school students have daily Bible classes, and chapel takes place twice weekly across the school. Semester students must complete a full semester and have a host family arranged before enrollment. Individual placement and arrangements require confirmation.
Curriculum
Middle-school learning develops critical thinking through discussion and hands-on work, while high-school teaching combines individual guidance with small-group learning. Visual arts span drawing, printmaking, sculpture and mixed media, with digital photography and yearbook production in high school. Eligible students in Grades 11–12 can also explore dual-credit study.
Courses and activities include visual arts, band, chorus and drama. Eligible students in grades 11–12 may also explore a dual-credit route. New international applicants are normally considered for grades 6–11, with grade 12 considered only under specific exceptions.
Student life and community service
Community service forms part of high-school life. Middle-school students also develop care and responsibility through activities with younger pupils. Christian education includes daily Bible classes in middle and high school and chapel twice a week. Arts, music and sports provide further areas of involvement. Please consult an advisor about specific courses and activities.
