School introduction

Founded in 1949 in Honolulu, the school developed into a multi-division college-preparatory institution. Academic challenge, character and responsibility to the community are central to its approach.

Within a Christian educational setting, classroom study connects with athletics, arts and service. Teachers and counselors help students plan a balanced path that reflects their interests and academic workload.

Curriculum

The early high-school years follow a common core spanning English and literature, mathematics, biology and chemistry, history and government, physical education and world languages. Placement reflects prior study and graduation requirements.

Upper-level options include visual and performing arts, journalism, programming, technology and AP subjects. Students are encouraged to balance academic challenge with personal interests; contact an advisor about individual course eligibility.

  • The core curriculum includes Old and New Testament study, and school life includes chapel and other Christian activities.
